There are many different types of guitar used to play a wide variety of styles. From classical guitar to steel string acoustic and electric guitar each suited to its own genre. I am a big believer that music is music and players should learn to play a wide range of styles.

 

Whatever your chosen style I cover a wide range of repertoire each with its unique difficulties introduced at an appropriate time to help develop technique and musical understanding in a structured way. Students are taught to read music and or tablature depending on the genre of music they are playing and I do encourage the study of both as it allows musicians to make informed musical decisions.

 

I am happy to offer advice on choosing suitable instruments and it maybe that current students may have instruments that they are happy to sell on after upgrading to bigger or better instruments.
